About me
I am an NIHR clinical lecturer in Paediatrics at University of Cambridge with a clinical subspecialty interest in paediatric rheumatology. I finished my medical degree at the University of Cambridge in 2014. During my training as a paediatric trainee in the East of England, I completed a Wellcome Trust Clinical PhD Programme in the Teichmann Lab at the Wellcome Sanger Institute from 2019 to 2022.
Research interests
My areas of research has been primarily focused on immunology and genomics, especially on how to use a combination of wet lab and bioinformatics techniques to understand human immune cell development from both in vivo and in vitro angles. Clinically, I am also the lead investigator of a national surveillance study on chronic recurrent multifocal osteomyelitis (CRMO), a rare autoinflammatory bone disease. Below are some of my current research topics.
- Single cell genomics
- Autoimmune/autoinflammatory diseases
- T/B cell development
- In vitro cell engineering
- Machine learning and data science application in paediatric clinical medicine
